Who we are
Neudale Veterinary Services is jointly owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Cory and Gina Neumann. It’s always been their dream to have their own business in rural Alberta, interacting with people and working with animals. They were thrilled to be able to purchase the Dewberry veterinary clinic, as it is near their roots and family in St. Paul and Myrnam. Cory has worked at the clinic since 2014, first as a summer student and later as a practicing veterinarian.
The Neudale name
The clinic name Neudale was inspired by Cory’s grandfather Helmut Neumann. He owned Neudale Dairy Farms for many years just west of St. Paul. There is a tradition within the Neumann family of using the prefix ‘Neu’ in any business venture. “Dale’ is synonymous with an open valley, and recognizes the rural nature of Neudale Veterinary Services.
The clinic logo is a stylized version of Cory’s grandfather’s cattle brand.
Clinic history
There has been a veterinary clinic operating in Dewberry, Alberta since 1987. It moved to its current location in 1994. As the third generation of ownership for this clinic, Neudale Veterinary Services is proud to continue the legacy started before us to serve the region’s livestock and pet populations. Begun by Dr. Gary Etherington, he sold the clinic in 2003 to Dr. Brenda Sparks, who owned and operated the clinic until it was sold to Dr. Neumann in 2020.
